Return Policy

At Revive In Style, we aim to provide detailed and accurate product descriptions to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

All products listed on our website include:
• multiple product photographs,
• detailed descriptions,
• dimensions and measurements where applicable.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all product information before placing an order. If anything is unclear prior to purchase, we strongly encourage customers to contact us at contact@reviveinstyle.co.uk before completing their order.

Vintage Condition & Product Wear
Please note that the majority of our products are genuine vintage items dating from approximately the 1940s to the 1990s.

 Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description, items are not considered:
• deadstock,
• brand new,
• mint condition,
• or unused.

Due to their age, vintage items will naturally show signs of:
• wear,
• fading,
• ageing,
• repairs,
• fabric variation,
• imperfections,
• or previous use.

These characteristics are considered part of the item's authenticity and vintage nature and are not regarded as defects.

By purchasing from Revive In Style, the customer acknowledges and accepts the condition of the item as presented in:
• product photographs,
• written descriptions,
• measurements,
• and condition notes.

Returns or refund requests based on:
• expected condition,
• normal vintage wear,
• ageing,
• sizing assumptions,
• fabric texture,
• colour tone differences,
• fit expectations,
• or subjective expectations

will not be accepted.

If an item is in exceptional condition such as deadstock or mint condition, this will be clearly stated in the product listing.

Returns Eligibility

We accept returns only for items that:
• arrive damaged,
• are faulty,
• or significantly differ from the original product description.

Returns based on:
• personal preference,
• incorrect assumptions,
• failure to read measurements,
• misunderstanding of product descriptions,
• expected fit,
• or dissatisfaction with normal vintage wear

may not be accepted.

By purchasing an item, the customer confirms acceptance of the item's condition and description.

Return Request Period

Any return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

Requests submitted after this period may be refused. 

Return Conditions

 All returned items must:
• have original tags attached and untouched,
• be unworn,
• unwashed,
• and returned in the same condition received.

 

Returned items must also be free from:
• perfume,
• smoke odours,
• deodorant marks,
• makeup stains,
• pet hair,
• or any signs of additional wear after delivery.

Items returned in unsuitable condition may be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.

 We reserve the right to refuse refunds if:
• tags have been removed,
• the item has been worn,
• cleaned,
• altered,
• damaged after delivery,
• or returned without original packaging where applicable.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:
• sale items,
• clearance items,
• gift cards,
• custom or personalised products,
• items accurately described in the listing,
• products where measurements and sizing were clearly provided,
• vintage items showing normal signs of age and wear.

 Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless:
• the item arrived damaged,
• faulty,
• or an incorrect item was sent by us.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

 Revive In Style is not responsible for returns lost, delayed, or damaged during transit.

 Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless legally required.

 Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@reviveinstyle.co.uk and provide:
• clear photographs of the item,
• photographs of the packaging,
• and a description of the issue.

Failure to provide sufficient evidence within the required timeframe may result in the claim being rejected.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

 We reserve the right to partially refund or refuse refunds where returned items do not comply with this policy.

Refused Deliveries & Uncollected Parcels

If an order is:
• refused,
• uncollected,
• or returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer,

we reserve the right to deduct:
• original shipping costs,
• return shipping fees,
• customs charges,
• and any handling fees

from the final refund amount.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
