RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

This policy operates in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


1. Understanding What You Are Buying

You are purchasing a vintage garment aged 50–80 years. Signs of age, wear, fading, repairs, or fabric ageing are expected and do not qualify as faults.


2. Your Right to Cancel (14 Days – Distance Selling)

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return under distance selling regulations.

You must notify us in writing within this period.


3. Conditions for a Valid Return

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unworn

  • Item must not be washed, cleaned, or altered

  • All labels/tags must be intact and undamaged

  • Item must not smell of perfume, smoke, or detergent

  • Item must be returned in the exact condition sent

Failure to meet these conditions voids the return.


4. What Does NOT Qualify as “Not as Described”

The following are not faults:

  • Fading, wear, marks, or repairs consistent with age

  • Vintage odour

  • Fabric delicacy

  • Fit issues where measurements were provided

  • Customer expectation of better condition than the grade


5. Label & Tag Rule (Critical)

If the internal label or tag is removed, damaged, or tampered with, the item is automatically non-returnable.


6. Inspection Process

All returns are compared with original listing photos. If the condition differs, the return will be refused.


7. Refunds

Refunds are issued within 14 days of approved return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is genuinely faulty under UK law.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.


8. Non-Returnable Items

  • Sale items

  • Items with damaged labels

  • Items showing signs of wear after delivery


9. Faulty Items (UK Law)

If an item is genuinely faulty beyond reasonable vintage wear, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
