These exceptional CEBO “EVA 65” boots were made in Czechoslovakia and are believed to date from the mid-1960s, a fascinating period when Eastern European craftsmanship combined practicality with forward-thinking design. Produced under the renowned CEBO export label, they represent the quality and character that made Czechoslovak footwear respected throughout Europe.

Crafted from beautifully textured brown leather, these boots feature a distinctive pebbled grain finish, elegant side zip fastening and decorative button detailing that perfectly capture the refined Mod-inspired silhouettes of the era.
The softly structured shape, geometric toe and low block heel create a timeless profile that feels every bit as wearable today as it did over half a century ago.

What truly sets this pair apart is the interior. The boots are fully lined with a warm insulating felt and wool-blend lining, providing comfort and protection during colder months. This practical construction was a hallmark of premium Central European footwear, designed not only to look elegant but to perform in everyday winter conditions.

CEBO was one of the most recognisable footwear export brands of former Czechoslovakia, producing high-quality leather shoes and boots that blended traditional shoemaking techniques with contemporary European styling. Rooted in the country's rich shoemaking heritage, CEBO became known for durable construction, quality materials and thoughtful design. Today, surviving examples from the 1960s are increasingly difficult to find, particularly in such well-preserved condition.

The “EVA 65” designation, original construction details and period materials strongly suggest a mid-1960s production date, making these boots a remarkable example of Cold War-era fashion design. Their combination of craftsmanship, rarity and historical significance makes them especially appealing to collectors of vintage footwear, Mod fashion, Eastern European design and museum-quality fashion pieces.

A genuine deadstock survivor from the former Czechoslovakia. These boots remained unworn and preserved in storage for decades, retaining their original shape, construction and remarkable period details. Examples from the 1960s rarely surface in such untouched condition, making this pair especially desirable for collectors of vintage footwear and European fashion history.
Minor storage-related marks may be present due to age.
